While no attorney can win every case, I have had great successes for my clients both at Trial and on Appeal.

While this is not an exclusive listing of my victories, as many criminal cases are resolved prior to trial by way of dismissals or plea-agreements, it will serve to give you an idea of the types of cases I have handled and the victories I have achieved for my clients.

 

2010: State v. Hamilton 20D04-0811-CM-576

Bench trial had.  Client found not guilty of Battery, a class A misdemeanor.

2009: Weathers v. State 71A04-0806-CR-359

Appeal taken to the Indiana  Court of Appeals.  Client's conviction for Burglary, a class B felony, overturned and 20 year prison sentence Vacated.

2007: State v. Graham 71D01-0704-FD-352

Jury trial had.  Client found not guilty of Battery, a class D felony, and Residential Entry, a class D felony.

Trial had.  Client found not guilty of Possession of Marijuana, a class A misdemeanor.

Trial had.  Client found Not Guilty of Possession of Marijuana, a class A misdemeanor.

Trial had.  Client found Not Guilty of Possession of Marijuana, a class D felony

2005:  State v. Harris  71J01-0508-JD-629

Trial had.  Client found Not Guilty of Possession of Cocaine, a class A Felony, and Not Guilty of Possession of Marijuana, a class A Misdemeanor.

2005:  A.R.R. v. State  71A05-0502-JV-61

Appeal taken to the Indiana Court of Appeals.  The Trial Court's order that the Client pay $3,155.00 in restitution was Vacated, and the case remanded.

2005:  State v. Jones  71J01-0503-JD-184

Trial had.  Client found Not Guilty of Carrying a Handgun Without a License, a class A Misdemeanor.

2004:  A.M.M. v. State  71A03-0406-JV-270

Appeal taken to the Indiana Court of Appeals.  Client's $640.00 restitution order deemed illegal and Vacated.

Trial had.  Client found Not Guilty of Attempted Rape, a class B Felony.

Appeal taken to the Indiana Court of Appeals.  Client's probationary period reduced from 30 years to 5 years.

2003:  Cruz v. State  20A05-0210-CR-509

Appeal taken to the Indiana Court of Appeals.  Client's sentence reduced from 100 years to 50 years.

Appeal taken to the Indiana Court of Appeals.  Client's sentence committing her to Indiana Girl's School was vacated and she was released from custody.
